We are Mr. & Mrs. Kabiru and Trina Razaq, and we are the co-founders of Rear Up Youth Foundation!

Our journey is a fusion of two worlds, guided by a shared vision to create positive change in the lives of those who need it most, the youth.
 
Our story begins with Kabiru, who was raised in the rural village of Oreta, Lagos Nigeria, he witnessed firsthand the challenges and struggles faced by underprivileged children in Africa.  These experiences ignited a passion within him and his beloved wife, Trina, a proud native of Savannah, Georgia, USA, to make a difference by creating a world where underprivileged children have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of their circumstances.  Together, as a married couple united in faith and purpose, we embarked on a journey to serve, uplift, and spread the love of God.

The inspiration behind starting REAR-UP also came from a deep desire to bring young people to Christ, break the cycle of poverty and empower underprivileged communities.  Through our foundation, we are dedicated to addressing the immediate needs of these young lives—providing nourishment, clothing, school supplies and housing assistance.  We also believe that education is the key to unlocking a brighter future, and that by providing children with access to quality education and support, we can transform lives and build thriving communities. 

Our journey with REAR-UP has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. We have had the privilege of witnessing the transformational power of education in the lives of children and families in rural Africa. From seeing a child's face light up as they learn to read for the first time to witnessing the joy of a family receiving access to healthcare, food, and other essential necessities, every moment reaffirms our belief in the importance of our work.

We are  filled with hope and optimism for the future. Together, we can make a real and lasting impact in the lives of underprivileged children in Africa and beyond. We  invite you to join us in this noble cause, to be part of something truly meaningful and life-changing.
